Lip Filler Near Me | Search. Compare. Book. | Fvce

Lip filler can be used to inject volume to provide a plumper, more balanced aesthetic look. It is a synthetic version of the naturally occurring hyaluronic acid which already exists in our lips. Hyaluronic acid is a sugar-based protein which gives our lips and skin volume. Lip filler can top up or replace lost volume caused by the ageing process, ensuring you always have that perfect pout.

What does the procedure involve?

Practitioners will skilfully enhance the natural contour of your lips and add volume where needed. The process involves inserting a fine needle into specific sites in your lips and placing small amounts of lip filler. No more than 1ml is inserted at any given sitting. Effects of the filler can last up to 12 months and take less than 30 minutes to administer. After 12 months, the filler is naturally resorbed by your body.

Use our Lip Scale to grade your current lips and where you want them to be to get a rough idea about how much filler you will need.

To move up a grade of lips, you generally require a minimum of 1ml of lip filler.

Before and Afters

General Risks

  • Redness/Swelling/Bruising
  • Mild discomfort
  • Itching

  • Infection
  • Allergic reaction
  • Vascular compromise

It is important to seek urgent medical attention if you develop moderate-severe pain, develop a grey/blue discolouration of your skin in the minutes/hours after treatment, or notice loss of vision as this can indicate vascular compromise and needs urgent review to dissolve the filler using Hyaluronidase.

All practitioners will come to every appointment with the necessary safety equipment to deal with any complications. If any queries regarding your treatment do arise, you can contact your practitioner using the e-consultation service or directly as they will leave their contact details with you.
